External Examining Handbook

Important Information: The policies and procedures set out in this Handbook, together with the systems used to implement them, are currently under review by an External Examining Task and Finish Group, reporting to the Education Board. The review encompasses the planned integration of External Examiner reporting within the University's new Curriculum Management System (CMS). The general policy principals as detailed in this Handbook will, however, continue to be adhered to during this review process. Any amendments or additions to policies and procedures will be included in the 2026/27 version of this Handbook.
